Diverse Industry Expertise

Tailored solutions for every industry

Some requirements, such as quality, are common across all industries. Others, however, are specific to individual industries, such as surface perfection or precision. Over the past 30 years, our range of services has grown and now covers a wide spectrum of industries. At the same time, we have remained true to our focus on seven core industries. This is the only way we can ensure that our insider knowledge covers the specific requirements of each industry.

  • Defense Technology

Safety starts with technology – in Defense Technology, reliability is paramount. Systems must perform under extreme conditions, exhibiting resistance to heat, cold, vibration, and shock. Consequently, the requirements for mechatronic assemblies are exceptionally high, particularly concerning robustness, traceability, and compliance with standards.

    FMA Mechatronic Solutions Defense Technology
  • Transport & Mobility

The three primary development drivers in the Transportation & Mobility sector are electrification, digitalization, and automation. This trend has led to a growing demand for mechatronics, particularly in electric motors, power electronics, and Battery Management Systems (BMS).

FMA Mechatronic Solutions Transport and Mobility
  • Medical Technology

Zero fault tolerance. Few industries adhere to this maxim with such strictness. Consequently, the production of mechatronic components for medical technology is subject to stringent quality and regulatory requirements. The reliability of these systems must be guaranteed at every stage of the product lifecycle.

  • Machinery and Plant Engineering

The automation revolution dictates continuous optimization. Whether through new developments or iterations, industrial progress in a dynamic technological landscape demands flexibility and extensive expertise. Increasing miniaturization and energy-efficient systems also significantly impact mechatronic components.

FMA Mechatronic Solutions Machinery and Plant Construction
  • Semiconductors

Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0: Intelligent factories, leveraging data acquisition, machine learning, and automated process control, will continue to enhance production efficiency. The demands on mechatronic assemblies in this sector are also increasing, particularly in the development of high-precision drives, heating devices, and position sensor technology.

    FMA Mechatronic Solutions Semiconductors
  • Renewable Energies

Key drivers for the EE (Electrical Engineering) sector include Smart Energy Systems, improved plant efficiency, advancements in energy storage, and increasing demands for lifespan and reliability. Consequently, mechatronic components such as sensors, actuators, control units, and tracking systems will become even more critical in the future.

    FMA Mechatronic Solutions Renewable Energies
  • Building Automation & Infrastructure

In the building infrastructure sector, digitalization is no longer a trend but a well-established standard. Innovations primarily focus on enhancing safety standards and energy efficiency, while simultaneously improving human-machine interaction. The consequence is that mechatronic systems must be flexible and modular to easily implement personalized settings for lighting, climate, and security.

FAQs

You have questions, we have the answers

Questions that frequently arise before and during a collaboration. And which we are happy to answer for you at any time.

FAQs

The FMA Group is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001.

If a design drawing or a sample exists, we can build it!

Yes. FMA has an international network of sourcing channels and partners and takes full responsibility for procuring all necessary components.

FMA always applies the same quality standards, regardless of whether the batch size is 1 or 10,000. In terms of volume, we have not yet reached our limits in series production.

In addition to all manufacturing steps and procurement, FMA assumes complete responsibility. For you as the client, this means that 1000 individual parts and work steps become a single purchased item.

Yes. While the FMA Group holds multiple certifications, it is fully open to any customer-initiated audit. A visit can be arranged at any time – and is always welcome.

One (1!) responsible production employee is accountable for the execution and production of a product from order start to order completion. This employee's name is associated with this production batch at all times, both internally and externally. This ensures maximum transparency and fosters the highest possible quality awareness among all FMA insiders at every single manufacturing step.

Ideally, FMA receives from our clients exploded view drawings, 2D and 3D data, bills of material (BOMs), assembly instructions, inspection and test procedures, and – if available – a reference sample. Should any of these components not yet be available, we are happy to assist you with their creation.

The FMA Group prepares all necessary delivery and customs documentation and also manages the collection and delivery of your goods.
