From a family business to a strong location within the FMA Group
InPeKo GmbH was founded in Feldkirchen-Westerham in 2001 by Mr. and Mrs. Kober. With technical expertise, entrepreneurial courage, and a great deal of personal commitment, they created a manufacturing site that has continued to develop over the years. What started out small grew step by step—spatially, technologically, and organizationally. From the outset, the focus was not on rapid growth, but on establishing stable structures and reliable processes.
Quality as the foundation for growth
An early milestone was ISO 9001 certification in 2005. This underlined the company's commitment to thinking systematically about quality and implementing it consistently. ISO 14001 certification followed in 2017 – a clear commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable production. The expansion of production and the commissioning of a second plant from 2022 onwards laid the foundation for further growth. Investments in infrastructure and processes made it possible to reliably meet increasing customer requirements and to expand production expertise in a targeted manner.
A new chapter: part of the FMA Group
A decisive turning point came in June 2022 with the takeover by FMA Mechatronic Solutions AG. The Feldkirchen-Westerham site thus became part of a strong group of companies with a clear industrial focus. The integration allowed synergies to be exploited, competencies to be pooled, and market opportunities to be developed in a targeted manner. At the same time, the site contributed its many years of manufacturing experience to the FMA Group.
2025: New structure, clear direction
The year 2025 marks another important chapter in the development of the location. With the change of name to FMA Mechatronic Solutions GmbH, the joint brand identity within the FMA Group was consistently implemented. On January 1, 2025, Carsten Metzger took over as managing director, and in September, the company moved into its newly modernized premises in Feldkirchen-Westerham, which offer optimal conditions for efficient processes, modern manufacturing, and future growth.
People make the difference
25 years of company history cannot be measured solely in terms of buildings, certificates, or milestones. Above all , it is the people who have shaped this location: employees, business partners, and companions who take responsibility and make development possible.
